Payment Terms and Conditions - giveonthemobile® 

If you have sent a text to make a £1.00 donation

Texts will be charged at £1.00 plus one message at your standard network rate; the charge will show on your bill and the sender will show as a five digit number 70099. A minimum of £0.95 will be donated to the charity once network providers have taken out their costs. 

If you have sent a text to make a £3.00 donation

Texts will be charged at £3.00 plus one message at your standard network rate; the charge will show on your bill and the sender will show as a five digit number 70007. A minimum of £2.96 will be donated to the charity once network providers have taken out their costs. 

If you have sent a text to make a £5.00 donation

Texts will be charged at £5.00 plus one message at your standard network rate; the charge will show on your bill and the sender will show as a five digit number 70800. A minimum of £4.96 will be donated to the charity once network providers have taken out their costs. 

General terms

Givezio Ltd will not be liable for delays or failures in receipt of any SMS messages, as delivery is subject to transmission from your network operator and processing by your mobile phone device. 

All donors must obtain permission from the bill payer before sending a SMS text message. 

You must not send more texts than you can afford or your mobile network will allow. If you are under 16 years old, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to send a SMS donation to us. 

Givezio Ltd and our sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any mobile telephone network or line, system, server, mobile provider or otherwise which may result in any SMS text being lost or not properly received. 

This service is available in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales only. 

This SMS service is being provided by giveonthemobile® on behalf of our customers using a third party SMS provider. 

Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your mobile number, your carrier's name and the date, the time and content of your messages and other information that you may provide. 

Refund Policy

Givezio Ltd accepts donations made through the giveonthemobile® application on the understanding that the donor has made the donation in good faith to a chosen charity, campaign or fundraiser event. In the event that a donation has been made by mistake or without the donor’s permission then the donor has to contact in writing either the mobile telephone operator or the financial services organisation for which the donation has been processed and ask for a refund because the donation will not have been collected by Givezio Ltd at this point. 

Any refund will be made at the absolute discretion of the relevant mobile telephone operator or financial services organisation. 

There is no obligation for the mobile phone operator or financial services organisation to provide any refund and they may choose to refund only part of the donation if they so wish. 

In the event that the donation has already been processed by Givezio Ltd on behalf of the donor and the monies have been transferred and cleared to the relevant charity bank account then the donor will have to seek written permission from the charity for a refund to be made. The charity will agree or disagree to a refund at its sole discretion. 

In any event if a refund is to be made then the charity will have to agree in writing at the donor’s request with Givezio Ltd that a refund can be deducted from any future payments due to the charity from Givezio Ltd. If no monies are due to the charity from Givezio Ltd,  then Givezio Ltd will have to create a specific invoice in respect of the refund which will need to be paid by the charity to Givezio Ltd before any refund to the donor can be made. 

Givezio Ltd reserves the right to charge a handling fee which will be deducted from any refund to the donor.

Data protection

Your data will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not share your information with any third party organisations except where;

1/ such transfer is a necessary part of our activities, or

2/ we are required to do so by operation of law.
